Confirm your wind and flood coverage and your deductible now, before any storm is named.
Photograph each room for your records, then back the photos up somewhere off-site.
Clear the loose yard items, and check your shutters and tracks while it is calm.
Know where your water shutoff is, and make sure someone else in the home does too.
